Ingredients
6slicesHard French Baguette (1-2 day old)
1largeegg
3/4cupMilk
1TBSMaple Syrup
1cupWhipped cream
1cupFresh strawberries
1TBSbutter
Directions
Mix milk, egg and maple syrup well in a bowl.
Slice 1-2 day old French bread and soak them in the egg/milk. Make sure the bread absorbs all juice. Set aside.
Heat a medium frying pan over medium heat, add butter and sauté bread both sides.
Make whip cream. In a medium sized bowl, add fresh cream and (sugar or honey if you like) and whip well.
On a plate, put cooked French bread and add whipped cream and strawberries on top.
