Garlic Butter Steak

This is just a steak cooked with salt and pepper. One difference is adding garlic butter and it adds so much flavor. Add side dishes and it makes a special dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 5 oz tenderloin steaks

  • 1 TBS olive oil

  • 2 TBS garlic butter (see recipe below)

  • salt pepper

Directions

  • Take out the steaks from the fridge and keep it room temperatures for about 30 min before cooking.
  • Salt pepper generously on the steaks.
  • Heat medium sized thick frying pan over high heat. Add olive oil.
  • Place the steak and cook about 5 min until it gets golden brown. Turn and cook the other side. Cook about 3 to 4 min (depending on the thickness of the steak)
  • Remove from the heat and keep them in aluminum foil for 5 min.
  • Put garlic butter on top and serve.
