Quiche Pie

I like this recipe and make it often. It’s easy and great for breakfast, snack and lunch. You can choose your favorite vegetables and meats to put in this pie.

Use store bought frozen pie shell.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen pie shell

  • 3 large eggs

  • 4 slices bacon (diced, cooked and drained)

  • 1/4 pound ham (diced)

  • 1/4 small onion (diced and sauteed)

  • some cooked spinach or broccoli flowers (cooked diced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 package shredded cheddar cheese (mixed cheese)

  • salt pepper

Directions

  • Preheat the oven 350 F degree.
  • Prepare the frozen pie shell. Poke holes with a fork at the bottom of the pie.
  • Dice and cook bacon. Set aside. Dice hams.
  • Cook broccoli flowers and cut up pieces. Dice and sauté onions until tender. Set aside.
  • Beat eggs in a bowl and mix well. Combine with fresh cream. Mix well.
  • In the pie shell, place vegetables, ham and bacon. Add cheese. Salt pepper.
  • Pour the mix of eggs and cream into the pie shell.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown about 30 min. Inset a toothpick and it is done when the pick is clear.
  • Wait about 20 min before serving.
